Volunteer Translators

The list of volunteer translators for the housing right with no boundaries counts now more than 130 people: this is a great demonstration of solidarity that alouds the spreading of news at a global level, news that otherwise would be bordered by linguistic barriers.

This section of the website is supposed to aloud an easier cooperation for all of you. That's why we have decided to dedicate a space in the website in which we'll gather useful sites or documents. You're kindly asked to send us your suggestions, ideas etc.

• Altavista Babel Fish Translation maybe you already know it...but it's really useful: you only have to choose the couple of languages for your translation,insert the word you're looking for and press "translate".
• Logos this is a portal for multilingual translations. From this point you should select the language from which you want to translate, insert the word you're looking for and press "search": now you'll see the different meanings, press "translation" and you'll see them.
• Trilingual Thesaurus this is the page of UN habitat Publications. From here you can download in pdf the "Trilingual Thesaurus in the Field of Human Settlements", that is a lexicon in English, French and Spanish, about the words related to housing policies, human settlements and environment. First, open the pdf clicking on "download pdf version" (it will take a little while to download it), than visit the section "alphabetical listing" or "thematic listing" to see the translation in Spanish and English.
