Lançamento Comitê Brasil Assembleia Mundial dos Habitantes Dakar 2011
El lanzamiento contó con la presencia de nueve estados, de la región sudeste, norte, nordeste, centro oeste y de un plenario de más de 200 personas de los movimientos sociales que componen el foro nacional de la reforma urbana: CONAM, FACESP, MDM, UNMP, MNLM, CMP, INSTITUTO POLIS, FASE, BENTO RUBIÃO, MDT, TIERRA DE DERECHO, FOROS REGIONALES; DE LA AMAZONÍA LEGAL, NORDESTE.La Carta Brasil aprobada en esta Asamblea fue leída por la compañera Lucia Moraes, ex relatora del derecho a la vivienda en Brasil.Queremos destacar esta gran victoria aquí en Brasil, las entidades que firman ese documento se comprometen a apoyar al Comité y a ayudar a construir una propuesta unitaria para ser presentada en la Asamblea Mundial de los Habitantes en Dakar 2011, como también a interactuar junto a los países que están ayudando a construir esta propuesta.

We’ve had enough of being considered objects with neither minds nor bodies, trash to be used and then swept aside pitilessly, expelled to settle elsewhere.
In 2011, and for the good of all, the World Assembly of Inhabitants will finally show that the time has come for the homeless, the badly housed and the evicted to show that they are capable of standing up in solidarity and to resist the cracking whip of neoliberalism and to create an alternative to this global force of repression.You are invited to get involved, making this the year of the success for inhabitants to take back their rightful claims, by supporting the World Assembly of Inhabitants!

Questo seminario, organizzato congiuntamente da Handi-FSM, Vida Brasil, Association des Paralysés de France, Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique (Senegal), Community Transportation Association (Stati Uniti), Comune di Althens des Paluds, Handicap International e Alleanza Internazionale degli Abitanti, ha raggiunto delle conclusioni importanti per il futuro di noi tutti. Queste conclusioni sono state presentate in particolare in occasione dell’Assemblea Mondiale degli Abitanti.
