Consequently, could the social movements attack the roots on the premise of the right to housing and to the city? How? With whom? When?

En la primera conferencia inaugural, dictada el 2 de mayo de 2010, el compañero Pablo González, sostienen que “es necesario que la umanidad se dé cuenta de que esta viviendo en un mundo en el que se combinan elementos nuevos y otros antiquísimos, como la violencia más primitiva y la justicia más brutal, así como la posibilidad de que hoy como nunca tienen el ser humano de acabar con la vida en la tierra”.

WSF 2006 Caracas UPU
The workshop organized at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, Caracas, on the third day of the VI World Social Forum for the International Alliance of Inhabitants, has allowed the work developed over the last two years on the Urban Popular University to be opened up to a large, varied audience. The UPU is an initiative created by the International Alliance of Inhabitants, an international network of organizations and residents that fight for the right to housing, established in the framework of the 2004 Mumbay Social Forum.
