Fue anunciada en Puerto Principe, Haiti, la realización de una jornada por el derecho a la vivienda en Haití y el Caribe, por un colectivo de organizaciones haitianas integradas por la Plataforma Hatiana por el Desarrollo Alterntativo (PAPDA), coordinada por Camille Chalmers; Grupo de Apoyo a Refugiado y Repatriados (GARR) dirigida por Colette Lespinasse, Plataforma de los Derechos Humanos, POHDH, coordinada por Antonal Mortime y la Fuerza de Reflexión y Acción por el Derecho a la Vivienda en Haiti (FRAKKA), grupos religiosos, entre otros.
